There are a number of excellent history podcasts available on the internet. These can be listened to in a number of ways.
You can use iTunes (Apple) or other podcast apps (such as Soundcloud, Double Twist or a multitude of others on an Android phone). To find the podcast you want simply search by the title of the podcast you wan. You can also search by genre (i.e. ‘Irish History’, ‘True Crime’, etc…).
In most cases, you can also access these podcast on the internet for listening or download to your pc.

Tudor and Stuart Ireland – Talks from conferences from 2011-2019
Irish History Podcast – Podcasts on a variety of themes relating to Irish History by Fin Dwyer. Fin gave a CHAS talk on the Black Death in Carlow and Leinster in 2016.
History Hub – History Hub.ie is based at the School of History, UCD and offer a whole range of subjects from medieval to modern history, both Irish and international.
History Ireland – Mostly recordings from their highly successful Hedge School programme.
Talking History – Dr Patrick Geoghegan of Trinity College Dublin presents this weekly show on Newstalk. Great panel talks on a wide range of historical issues.
The History Show – Presented by Myles Dungan on RTE Radio 1. Wide-ranging but with a focus on the revolutionary period at present.
The History of England – Starting with the Anglo-Saxons and now at episode 286 (Queen Mary), this is an entertaining and informative odyssey through English history.
In Our Time – Long-running radio show presented by Melvyn Bragg and dealing with History, Culture, Science, Philosophy and Religion. Topics discussed with panels of experts and moderated by the sometimes tetchy Bragg! Recent episodes on the Potato Famine and the Treaty of Limerick were excellent.
