There are a number of excellent history podcasts available on the internet. These can be listened to in a number of ways.
You can use iTunes (Apple) or other podcast apps (such as Soundcloud, Double Twist or a multitude of others on an Android phone). To find the podcast you want simply search by the title of the podcast you wan. You can also search by genre (i.e. ‘Irish History’, ‘True Crime’, etc…).
In most cases, you can also access these podcast on the internet for listening or download to your pc.

In Our Time – Long-running radio show presented by Melvyn Bragg and dealing with History, Culture, Science, Philosophy and Religion. Topics discussed with panels of experts and moderated by the sometimes tetchy Bragg! Recent episodes on the Potato Famine and the Treaty of Limerick were excellent.
