On Wednesday 18th of January in Tullow Community School 2014 Eoin Lyng of Carlow County Council, spoke about an innovative project with a startup called Plotbox to map cemeteries in Carlow. After 2 years of work in
volving Carlow County Council staff and members, Local Community Groups and Plotbox staff, 45 graveyardshave been surveyed with records, photos and GPS coordinates attached to each cemetery plot.
The details of these mapped graveyards are currently available in Carlow County Library and Museum and will soon be available on a new website, discovereverafter.com. This site will allow anyone to search cemetery records and return details including plot locations, photographs of headstones and burial record details.

I am looking for the grave of my grandmother, Mary Anne Nolan/Byrne, who died 29th October 1943. She died if the County Home in Carlow. She did have a husband, Joseph Byrne, who I think disowned her. MaryAnne died of TB. I found her death cert but cannot find where she was buried.
