On the 23rd of August 2017 as part of Heritage Week 2017 Carlow Historical & Archaeological Society presented 2 extremely well attended mini lectures in Carlow College. Firstly Carlovian Art Historian Mary Stratton Ryan gave an excellent talk entitled ‘Homage to Carlow’s Greatest Artist’, Frank O’Meara 1853-1888.
