The first CHAS lecture of 1919 took place Wednesday 16 Jan in Carlow Town Hall at 8pm. John O’Donovan spoke on the 1918 General Election. The 1918 election was a turning point in Irish history and impact of this momentous event was remenbered and explained during John’s talk. A
